Mobile Crisis Outreach
Spindletop Center’s Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) is a clinically staffed crisis team that provides prompt face-to-face crisis assessment, intervention, follow-up, and relapse prevention services for individuals in the community. These services reach individuals at their place of residence, school, or other community-based safe locations, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. MCOT includes credentialed and specially trained staff who deliver comprehensive community-based crisis services around the clock. When needed, call 1-800-937-8097, and crisis hotline professionals can dispatch our Mobile Crisis Outreach Team to meet individuals in a crisis where they are in the community. If the team cannot safely resolve the crisis in the community, MCOT will coordinate admission for the individual to the most appropriate and least restrictive setting for further crisis treatment.
